DESCRIPTION
The 62D11-01-120C is a high-torque optical encoder with an integrated pushbutton switch, designed for precision rotational sensing applications. It features a 1/2" economical package with 5.0 Vdc operation, 2-bit quadrature coded output, and 12 detent positions (120° angle of throw). The encoder utilizes optically coupled phototransistor and infrared emitter technology for reliable operation over more than one million cycles, with a rotational life rating of 1,000,000 cycles minimum. Key electrical specifications include 30 mA maximum supply current, 150 mW maximum power consumption, and TTL/CMOS compatible logic outputs with 3.8 Vdc minimum logic high and 0.8 Vdc maximum logic low.
