DESCRIPTION

The 62S11-H0-P is a compact, 32-position optical encoder from the 62S series, featuring a high rotational torque of 2.15 ±1.60 in-oz. It operates on a 5 Vdc supply, drawing a maximum of 30 mA, and provides a standard 2-bit quadrature output via open collector phototransistors that require external pull-up resistors. This model is configured without an integral pushbutton and uses .050" center pins for termination. With a mechanical life of 1/2 million rotations and a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, it is built for durability in demanding environments. Its compact size makes it ideal for applications like medical equipment and global positioning systems where reliable position sensing is critical in a small footprint.
