DESCRIPTION

The 62V22-02-060CH is a Series 62V optical encoder that provides a 2-bit quadrature coded output. Operating on a 3.3 Vdc supply, this encoder features 16 detent positions with an angle of throw of 22.5 degrees and an initial operating torque of 2.0 ±1.4 in-oz. It includes an integral pushbutton rated for a minimum of 3 million actuations and is terminated with a 6.0-inch cable with a connector on 0.100" centers. With a rotational life of over one million cycles, this optically coupled device is ideal for demanding applications like medical equipment and global positioning systems where long-term reliability is critical.
