DESCRIPTION

The 87GC3-201 is a five-button low-profile keypad module from Grayhill's Series 87 standard keypads, designed for applications requiring reliable button actuation with audible and tactile feedback. The module features a snap-dome contact system under each button, rated for up to 3,000,000 operations per button, and maintains 0.5-inch button center spacing regardless of mounting configuration. The keypad supports multiple legend options including insertable legend modules for prototypes, printed legends with epoxy ink bonding for medium-volume production, and molded-in legends for high-volume applications requiring durability. The module is available with single pole/common bus circuitry and can be customized with various button types (flat, concave, or snap-on cap styles) and housing colors (standard black, optional beige or gray). This versatile design makes it ideal for industrial control panels, medical devices, telecommunications equipment, and consumer electronics where customizable input interfaces are required.
