DESCRIPTION

The 148K is an audio driver transformer designed for PC board mounting. It features a primary impedance of 4000 Ohms and a selectable secondary impedance of 500 or 2000 Ohms. The transformer is rated for a 75 milliwatt power output and can handle a maximum primary DC current of 6.5 mA. As part of the 148 series, it offers a frequency response from 200 Hz to 15 kHz and an insertion loss of less than 0.5 dB. This economical, open-type component is ideal for audio driver circuits requiring impedance matching on a printed circuit board.
