DESCRIPTION

The 1583H8A1SBK is a 15 Amp horizontal rackmount surge strip designed for power distribution from the rear of a 19-inch rack. It occupies 1U of rack space and provides eight rear-mounted NEMA 5-15R outlets. The unit is equipped with a 6 ft, 14/3 SJT heavy-duty power cord that terminates in a straight NEMA 5-15P plug. For safety, it incorporates a 15 Amp, 125 VAC circuit breaker to prevent overloads and a surge protection module with a maximum energy rating of 1080 Joules and a Voltage Protection Rating (Vpr) of 500V. Finished in black powder coat, this surge strip is ideal for distributing power to equipment within server racks and network closets.
