DESCRIPTION

The BPD2EE is a Class 2 energy-limiting plug-in transformer designed for low-voltage AC applications. It features a 120VAC primary input with a 14V secondary output capable of delivering 1.43A at a 20 VA power rating, making it inherently current-limited without requiring external fuses or circuit breakers. The transformer is housed in an attractive black plastic case suitable for indoor use only, with secondary connections via 2 recessed slot head screw terminals on the plug side, and operates at 60 Hz. It is CSA certified (#LR 113601) and UL listed (#E 184936), ensuring compliance with safety standards. Common applications include AC-powered chimes, doorbells, security systems, decorative lighting, furnaces, humidifiers, appliances, vending machines, and intercom systems.
