DESCRIPTION

EJ161410 is a Type 4 mild steel junction box from the Eclipse Junior series designed to enclose electrical and electronic equipment in harsh industrial environments. The enclosure features a continuously hinged cover with 304 stainless steel hinges providing 180° opening, and quarter-turn latches formed from black zinc diecast that require a tool for opening. The body and cover are formed from 16 gauge steel with smooth, continuously welded seams, a formed lip to exclude flowing liquids and contaminants, and 14 gauge welded brackets for mounting. The unit includes a removable 14 gauge galvanized inner panel, internal threaded weld studs for panel mounting, bonding and grounding studs, and a seamless poured-in-place gasket. It complies with UL 508 Type 3R, 4, 12 and 13, CSA Type 3R, 4, 12 and 13, NEMA Type 3R, 4, 12 and 13, and IEC 60529 IP66 standards. This enclosure is ideal for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes, and terminal wiring enclosures.
