DESCRIPTION

The M80-5400642 is a coaxial contact assembly for the M80 series rectangular connectors, engineered for high-frequency applications requiring reliable signal integrity. It operates at frequencies up to 6 GHz with an impedance of 50 O and maintains a voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) of 1.05 + (0.04 × Frequency in GHz) maximum. The contact is rated for 180 V AC at 500 mA operating voltage and 1,000 V AC rms maximum voltage, with a contact resistance of 6 mO maximum and insulation resistance of 106 MO at 250 V rms. Mechanically, the contact offers 500 insertion/withdrawal cycles durability, with an insertion force of 8.0 N maximum, withdrawal force of 0.5 N minimum, and a contact wipe of 1.30 mm minimum.
