DESCRIPTION

The 1DM437 Safety Interlock Switch from Honeywell is a special application precision switch. Featuring a snap-in panel mount design, this Honeywell Switch is easy to install and use. Safety Interlock Switches are designed for mounting on a door or a cover, so that when the door or other part is opened, they open automatically. They prevent the gear shift lever from moving until the brake is applied.

The 1DM437 switch is available with a choice of momentary, alternate push-pull or pull-to-cheat operation to offer design flexibility. With nearly one million operations at a 95% survival rate, this Interlock Industrial Switch delivers long mechanical life. These safety switches are generally used in appliance door lights, door interlocks, and stop or start switches, among others.
