DESCRIPTION

392JA1MEG Rotary Potentiometer from Honeywell features a compact size with conductive plastic element and robust nickel-plated brass shaft and bushings. It also comes with a linear electrical taper, PC style terminals and has a 0.5 W power rating. This 1M ohm single turn potentiometer has a mechanical rotation of 295° and offers a long rotational life of up to 50,000 cycles.

Potentiometers are measuring instruments that are used to measure electric potential, i.e. voltage, in a circuit. These potentiometers were primarily used in measuring voltage, before the invention of moving coil and digital volt meters. The 392 series potentiometers come with an internal shaft seal to protect the device from moisture. Honeywell Potentiometer 392JA1MEG is used in applications like manual controls, medical equipment and telecommunications.
