DESCRIPTION

The HOA0708-001 is a reflective sensor that integrates an infrared emitting diode (IRED) and an NPN silicon phototransistor on converging optical axes. Housed in a black thermoplastic package, the sensor detects the presence of a reflective object when it passes within its field of view. Key characteristics include a collector-emitter breakdown voltage of over 30 V, a typical rise and fall time of 15 µs, and a minimum on-state collector current of 0.2 mA. This focused optical design is ideal for applications requiring object and position sensing, such as in automated equipment.
