DESCRIPTION
Pressure sensors, also known as pressure indicators, are instruments that are used to measure the pressure of gases and liquids. They can also be used indirectly to measure the flow of fluids and gases, water level and altitude, and other variables. These instruments are generally used in medical equipment, barometry, and HVAC equipment.
SCX15ANC Pressure Sensor from Honeywell is specially designed for use with air and dry gas, as well as with non-corrosive, non-ionic working fluids. This Honeywell Board Mount Pressure Sensor features a compact construction with an integrated circuit sensor element and a laser trimmed thick film ceramic encased in a solvent resistant case. The 100 µS response time of this Absolute Pressure Sensor, makes it ideal for computer peripherals and pneumatic control applications.
