DESCRIPTION

SDP8436-003 phototransistor from Honeywell features a compact, low profile design for application flexibility and enhanced coupling distance. This Honeywell phototransistor is also matched to SEP8736 infrared emitting diodes for easy installation.

Honeywell SDP8436-003 has some potential applications like in security systems, safety shields and optical remote controls. These phototransistors are devices that are sensitive to light and are a combination of photodiode-amplifiers. They detect light with an internal gain that are used in order to provide prominent analog or digital signals.
