DESCRIPTION

SS461R Hall Effect Sensor from Honeywell comes with integrated voltage protection, which safeguards it from potential damage during installation. Designed with a low voltage 3V capability, it consumes less power. This Honeywell Sensor has a sub miniature package size, which makes it occupy minimal space on the PCB and in smaller assemblies.

This unipolar Miniature Pressure Sensor is used in a variety of industrial, transportation and medical applications like speed and RPM sensing, tachometer, counter pickup, electric window fit, flow-rate sensing, brushless dc motor commutation, motor assemblies and medication dispense control. A magnetic field triggers these Hall Effect sensors to make them operate as analog transducers and return a voltage directly. They vary their output voltage in response to the respective magnetic field.
