DESCRIPTION

The HS9Z-A5P is a solenoid interlock switch designed for machine safety and access control applications. It features a compact form factor (35 × 40 × 146 mm) with 4 contacts and a rotatable head allowing 8 different actuator entry positions, combined with a metal actuator entry slot for extended operational life. The switch incorporates gold-plated contacts with direct-opening NC contacts per IEC/EN60947-5-1, an LED pilot light for solenoid status indication, and a minimum actuator locking strength of 1000 N. It is rated IP67 per IEC60529 and achieves a B10d reliability rating of 2.0×106 cycles, with only proprietary actuators permitted to prevent unauthorized access in compliance with ISO14119 and EN1088. The standard configuration includes a 3 m cable (1 m and 5 m options available), making it ideal for machinery guarding, emergency stop systems, and safety interlocks where controlled access and high reliability are critical.
