DESCRIPTION

025-0609-000 is a plastic protective dust cap designed to cover the coupling and conduit ends of MIL-C-5015 MS connectors. Made from red polyethylene material, this reusable cap protects connector interiors from foreign matter accumulation and prevents damage to threaded parts. The cap fits shell sizes 14S, 12S, and 16, with maximum dimensions of A: 0.825 inches, B: 0.700 inches, C: 0.580 inches, D: 0.536 inches, and E: 0.739 inches. These protective caps are commonly used in applications where temporary protection of MS connectors is required during storage or transport, though they are not intended to replace standard aluminum dust caps for permanent protection.
