DESCRIPTION
The 101-8534-000 is a VEAM CIR Series bayonet-coupling circular connector designed for reliable interconnect solutions in industrial applications. The connector features a shell constructed from aluminum alloy with options for stainless steel, bronze, and plastic composite materials, available with multiple finish options including hard black anodize, electroless nickel, and cadmium-olive drab. The insert is manufactured from polychloroprene (neoprene) with alternatives including silicone, fluorocarbon (Viton), and flame-retardant rubber, while contacts are made from copper alloy or thermoplane alloys with silver, gold, or rhodium plating. The connector is produced in accordance with NATO Standard VG95234, which is based on MIL-DTL-5015 for physical size, layout, and environmental requirements. This connector supports multiple contact sizes (ranging from size 20 to 4/0 AWG) and current ratings from 7.5 A to 225 A, making it suitable for diverse power and signal transmission requirements in aerospace, energy infrastructure, and transportation applications.
