DESCRIPTION

DD512231 is a sliding lock retainer assembly kit designed for use with D-Subminiature connectors. The kit consists of 1 sliding lock plate, 2 mounting screws, 2 lock washers, and 2 hex nuts, with the sliding lock plate made from passivated stainless steel and mounting hardware made from steel with trivalent and chromate over zinc finishes. The assembly features #4-40 NC-2A thread screws and provides positive mating with locking and latching capabilities for high vibration applications. This accessory is commonly used with Cannon backshells to ensure secure connector mating in demanding environments.
