DESCRIPTION

The DEMM-9S-M is a high-reliability D-Sub connector featuring 9 size-20 socket contacts for straight PCB through-hole mounting. It supports a maximum current rating of 7.5 A and has a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VAC at sea level. The connector is constructed with a steel shell finished with yellow chromate over zinc and a UL 94V-0 rated thermoplastic insulator. Its copper alloy contacts are plated with 50 microinches of gold over nickel, ensuring a low contact resistance of 7.5 milliohms maximum and durability of 500 mating cycles. Operating over a wide temperature range of -55°C to +150°C, this connector is ideal for demanding applications requiring a robust and stable connection.
