DESCRIPTION

The KPT06E8-2S is a miniature straight plug connector from ITT Cannon's KPT series, designed for high-density signal interconnection in harsh environments. It features a shell size 8 with a ½-turn positive bayonet coupling mechanism for quick mating and unmating, combined with environmental sealing to IP67 and IP68 standards. The connector employs a rubber insulator and grommet seal design with one-piece machined contacts secured by form fit and glue, and includes a pressure nut with grommet seal for reliable wire sealing. The connector is fully intermateable with MIL-DTL-26482 Series I and VG95328 standard connectors, making it suitable for military vehicles, industrial applications, off-road vehicles, sensors, factory equipment, and other heavy industry uses requiring robust interconnect solutions.
