DESCRIPTION

115383-0040 is a KPT-series circular connector featuring solder contacts that are pre-installed and fixed with glue, designed for reliable operation in harsh environments. The connector is constructed with an aluminum alloy shell available in multiple finishes (cadmium, tin zinc, zinc cobalt, zinc nickel, or nickel), polychloroprene grommet and seals, and copper alloy contacts with gold and silver plating options. It operates across an ambient temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and meets rigorous environmental sealing standards including IP67 per ISO 20653 in mated condition and IP68 (0.2 bar / 48h) per VG95328. The connector withstands vibration stress of 150 m/s² (10 Hz to 2000 Hz) and random vibration (5 Hz to 500 Hz), with a rated 500 mating cycles. This connector is ideal for aerospace, military, and industrial applications requiring robust interconnect solutions in demanding conditions.
