DESCRIPTION
MDB1-15PH003 is a 15-contact Micro D plastic shell connector designed for compact, high-density interconnect applications. It features a pin gender configuration with gold-plated copper alloy contacts using crimp termination, offering a contact resistance of 8 milliohms maximum and a current rating of 3 A. The connector utilizes a glass-filled thermoset plastic shell with diallyl phthalate insulator material and friction coupling, with 0.050 inch contact spacing. It is rated for dielectric withstanding voltage of 600 VAC at sea level and 150 VAC at 70,000 feet altitude, with insulator resistance exceeding 5000 megohms minimum. The connector is qualified for extreme environmental conditions including thermal shock from -55°C to +125°C, physical shock of 50 G's, vibration of 20 G's (10-2000 Hz for 12 hours), and 500 mating/unmating cycles. This connector is ideal for aerospace, military, and industrial applications requiring reliable, compact interconnections in harsh environments.
