DESCRIPTION

The 096513-0809 is a Micro-D metal shell connector featuring 0.050" (1.27 mm) contact spacing with aluminum shells that provide enhanced strength, EMI/RFI shielding, and moisture resistance. It employs size 24 MICROPINTM/MICROSOCKETTM contacts on 0.050" centers in a high-density configuration, with silicone elastomer compression interfacial seals between each contact to provide moisture and humidity protection. The connector is available in multiple shell sizes (9 through 100 contacts) and supports various mounting configurations including front panel mounting, rear panel mounting, and edgeboard mounting with standard #2-56 UNC or #4-40 UNC hardware options. These connectors are designed for applications requiring highly reliable, lightweight, and environmentally sealed microminiature interconnections in demanding aerospace, military, and industrial environments where compact size and rugged performance are essential.
