DESCRIPTION

MDM-9SCBR-F222-F246 is a 9-contact Micro "D" metal shell socket connector designed for reliable PCB interconnection applications. The connector features gold-plated copper alloy crimp contacts with a maximum contact resistance of 8 milliohms, an aluminum shell with yellow chromate/cadmium over nickel finish, and condensed right-angle PCB terminations for compact board mounting. It supports a maximum current rating of 3 A and a dielectric withstanding voltage of 600 VAC at sea level (150 VAC at 70,000 feet altitude), with insulator resistance exceeding 5000 megohms. The connector is rated for 500 mating and unmating cycles at up to 500 cycles per hour, and maintains performance across a thermal shock range of -55°C to +200°C with vibration resistance up to 20 G's (10-2000 Hz for 12 hours). This connector is ideal for aerospace, military, and industrial applications requiring durable, high-reliability interconnections in demanding environments.
