DESCRIPTION

The 142-4701-501 is a reverse polarity SMA jack assembly designed for PC mount bulkhead applications. It features a brass body with gold plating (0.00001 inch minimum over nickel and copper), gold-plated brass contacts (0.00003 inch minimum over nickel and copper), and a TFE/LON insulator body for reliable RF performance. The assembly includes a bronze gold-plated insulator and brass gold-plated nut and base components, with a 1/4-36 UNS-2A thread specification and 0.312 inch hex dimension. Operating over a temperature range of -65°C to +165°C with a minimum durability rating of 500 cycles, this connector meets or exceeds MIL-PRF-39012 environmental standards including thermal shock, corrosion, shock, vibration, and moisture resistance testing per MIL-STD-202. This connector is ideal for high-reliability RF and microwave applications requiring reverse polarity protection and robust environmental performance.
