DESCRIPTION

The 24-6337-8846 is a lead-free flux-cored solder wire featuring a Sn96.5Ag3.5 alloy composition with Kester 245 flux system designed for no-clean soldering operations. The wire has a diameter of 0.020 inches (0.50 mm) with a 58% flux core content and 2.2% lead content, classified as containing halogen per industry standards. This product is formulated to deliver visually acceptable assemblies without post-soldering cleaning while maintaining soldering quality and efficiency comparable to mildly activated rosin flux systems. The 245 flux chemistry is ROL0 classified per J-STD-004 and Bellcore GR-78 compliant, making it suitable for electronics assembly where reduced residue and no-clean processing are required.
