DESCRIPTION

8531J81ZQE22 is a subminiature pushbutton switch from C&K Components' 8500 Series, designed for detection, telecommunications, and computer peripheral applications. This single-pole single-throw (SPST) normally open momentary switch features a total travel of 0.095" (2.41 mm) typical with 0.042" (1.07 mm) overtravel, and an actuation force of 7.7 oz (220g) typical. The switch is equipped with a J81 snap-in frame actuator for panel mounting (panel thickness 0.047" to 0.125"), solder lug (Z) terminations, and Q contact material rated at 1 AMP @ 120 V AC or 28 V DC. It offers reliable contact design with contact resistance below 30 mO typical, insulation resistance of 10?O minimum, and an electrical life of 250,000 actuations at full load. The switch operates over a temperature range of -30°C to 65°C and is RoHS compliant.
