GT21MAVBE is a sealed ultraminiature double-pole double-throw (DPDT) toggle switch featuring vertical actuation and designed for compact electronic applications. The switch utilizes a glass-filled nylon 4/6 actuator with flame-retardant and heat-stabilized properties (UL 94V-0), brass tin-plated switch support, and copper alloy contacts with gold plating over nickel for reliable electrical performance. It is sealed against solder and cleaning process contaminants, with an epoxy terminal seal and insert-molded gold terminals, ensuring durability in harsh manufacturing environments. The switch supports a contact rating of 0.4 VA maximum at 20 V AC or DC, maintains contact resistance below 50 mO typical at 2–4 V DC with 100 mA current, and offers an insulation resistance of 10? O minimum with 500 Vrms dielectric strength. With 40,000 make-and-break cycles at full load and an operating temperature range of -30°C to 85°C, this switch is ideal for hand-held telecommunications equipment and small instrumentation devices requiring reliable, compact switching solutions.
