DESCRIPTION

SDS001 is a side actuated detect switch from the SDS Series, designed for detection applications in electronic devices. It features a low profile package that sits just 2mm off the PCB with 2mm overtravel, making it ideal for detector applications. The switch offers a low actuation force of 75 grams maximum, contact rating of 100 mA at 12 VDC, and mechanical/electrical life of 50,000 cycles. Operating over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, it is RoHS compliant and compatible. Common applications include medical devices, consumer electronics, PCB lock cam detect, smart card detect, and ATCA/MicroTCA systems.
