DESCRIPTION
The 0217002.MXP is a fast-acting fuse designed to IEC 60127-2, Sheet 2 specification for global use in cartridge and axial lead configurations. It is rated at 2 A with a 250 VAC voltage rating, a nominal cold resistance of 0.042 O, and a nominal melting I²t of 5.726 A² sec. The fuse exhibits fast response characteristics with opening times ranging from 0.01 sec. minimum at 400% of rated current to 0.02 sec. maximum at 1000% of rated current, and an interrupting rating of 35 A or 10 times the rated current (whichever is greater) up to a maximum of 100 A at 250 VAC. It operates across a temperature range of -55 °C to +125 °C, is RoHS compliant and lead-free, and features a glass body with nickel-plated brass caps and tin-plated copper leads. This fuse is suitable for circuit protection in industrial and commercial applications requiring reliable overcurrent and short-circuit protection.
