DESCRIPTION

The SML-LXR851SRC-TR is a 1.0×3.0 mm PCB right-angle surface-mount LED emitting 660 nm super red light with a water-clear epoxy lens. It delivers a typical axial intensity of 33 mcd at 20 mA forward current with a 160° viewing angle (2× theta), and operates with a forward voltage of 1.7 to 2.2 Vf. The device is rated for a steady current of 25 mA maximum, peak forward current of 160 mA (t < 10 µs), and power dissipation of 80 mW, with a derating of 1.2 mW/°C above 25 °C. It is designed for operation across -40 °C to +85 °C and storage from -40 °C to +90 °C, and is supplied in tape-and-reel format (2,000 units per reel) with moisture sensitivity per JEDEC Level 3 standards. This compact, right-angle LED is ideal for PCB-mounted indicator applications, status displays, and backlighting in consumer electronics and industrial control panels.
