DESCRIPTION

The SC628APR is a panel-mounted piezoelectric audible alarm designed for medium-level sound applications requiring fast pulse operation. It operates across a wide voltage range of 6 to 28 Vac/dc, generating a 2900 Hz ±500 Hz tone with a minimum loudness of 68 dB(A) at 6 Vac/dc and a maximum of 80 dB(A) at 28 Vac/dc, both measured at 2 feet. The device features a pulse rate ranging from 2 pulses per second at 10 Vac/dc to 10 pulses per second at 48 Vac/dc, with an approximate 50% duty cycle and current draw of 4 mA maximum at 6 Vac/dc and 16 mA maximum at 28 Vac/dc.
