DESCRIPTION

The N7812-2C is a high-efficiency, non-isolated DC-DC switching regulator designed as a pin-compatible replacement for LM78xx linear regulators. It accepts a wide input voltage range from 16V to 32V and delivers a regulated 12V output with a current capacity of up to 2000mA. This regulator achieves an efficiency of up to 96%, eliminating the need for a heatsink, and operates across a broad temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. Built-in protections for short circuit, overload, and over-temperature ensure robust operation in applications such as industrial PCs, data communications, and as a point-of-load regulator in distributed power systems.
