DESCRIPTION

The N7812-2CW is a high-efficiency, non-isolated DC-DC switching regulator in a wired casing, designed as a pin-compatible replacement for LM78xx series linear regulators. It accepts an input voltage from 16V to 32V DC and delivers a fixed 12V output with a current capacity of up to 2000mA. This device achieves a high efficiency of up to 96%, which allows it to operate over a -40°C to +85°C temperature range without an additional heatsink. Key features include low ripple and noise, and integrated protections for short circuits, overload, and over-temperature. Its compact design makes it ideal for industrial controls, power supplies, and point-of-load regulation in distributed power systems.
