DESCRIPTION

The AT86RF215-ZUR is a fully integrated, dual-band radio transceiver and I/Q radio designed for smart metering and other wireless applications. It operates simultaneously in the sub-1GHz (389.5-510MHz / 779-1020MHz) and 2.4GHz (2400-2483.5MHz) bands. The device includes an embedded baseband supporting MR-FSK, MR-OFDM, MR-O-QPSK, and O-QPSK modulations, and also offers a 13-bit I/Q low-voltage differential signal (LVDS) interface for external baseband processors. With a high link budget featuring programmable TX output power up to +14.5dBm and receiver sensitivity down to -123dBm, it ensures robust communication. These features make it ideal for smart utility networks (SUN), industrial control, and automated metering infrastructure.
