DESCRIPTION

The AT91SAM9M10C-CU-999 is a multimedia-enabled embedded microprocessor unit (MPU) powered by a 400 MHz ARM926EJ-S core. It integrates a hardware video decoder that supports standards like H.264 and MPEG-4 at resolutions up to D1 (720x576) and an LCD controller for TFT displays up to 1280x860. The device features a 133 MHz multi-layer bus architecture with 37 DMA channels to sustain high bandwidth for its numerous peripherals. Connectivity is extensive, with a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet MAC, dual high-speed USB host ports, a high-speed USB device port, and support for DDR2 and NAND Flash memory. This MPU is particularly well-suited for media-rich applications such as control panels, POS terminals, entertainment systems, and medical devices.
