DESCRIPTION

The MCP45HV51T-503E/ST is a single-channel, 8-bit digital potentiometer with a 50 kÎ© resistance and volatile memory. It is designed for high-voltage applications, supporting an analog operating voltage range of 10V to 36V (or Â±18V) and a separate digital supply from 2.7V to 5.5V. The device provides 256 wiper tap positions controlled via a high-speed I2C interface that supports frequencies up to 3.4 MHz. Key features include a low typical wiper resistance of 75 Î©, a terminal current of 6.5 mA, and an extended operating temperature range of -40Â°C to +125Â°C.
