DESCRIPTION

The MCP7940NT-I/SN is a Real-Time Clock/Calendar (RTCC) which tracks time using internal counters for hours, minutes, seconds, days, months, years, and day of week. Alarms can be configured on all counters up to and including months. For usage and configuration, it supports I2C communications up to 400 kHz. t works in industrial temp. range -40°C-85°C. Package type is a 8-Lead plastic small outline (3.90 mm body).
