The SY58040UMY is a low-jitter, low-skew, high-speed 4x4 crosspoint switch optimized for precision telecom and enterprise server applications. It distributes clock frequencies from DC to 4GHz and data rates up to 5Gbps, guaranteed over its full operating temperature and voltage range. Key features include an ultra-low phase jitter of 67fsRMS, a propagation delay under 350ps, and a unique 3-pin input termination that interfaces directly to any differential signal. The device's 50Ω source-terminated CML outputs provide a 400mV swing with rise/fall times of less than 60ps, making it ideal for demanding applications like SONET/SDH, Fibre Channel, and Gigabit Ethernet systems.
