DESCRIPTION

The TC7662BCOA713 is a charge pump DC-to-DC voltage converter designed to generate a negative output voltage from a positive input. It operates over a wide input voltage range of 1.5V to 15V and achieves a high power efficiency of 96% with only two external capacitors, eliminating the need for inductors. The device features an on-board oscillator with a nominal frequency of 10 kHz, which can be increased to 35 kHz via the boost pin to enable the use of smaller capacitors. This converter is ideal for applications requiring simple negative voltage generation, such as in data acquisition systems, instrumentation, and RS232 power supplies.
