DESCRIPTION

The 172-009-283L021 is a 9-position, female, high-profile D-Sub connector designed for vertical PCB mounting via dip solder termination. It features a UL 94V-O rated PBT insulator, a nickel-plated steel shell with ground indents, and brass contacts with gold flash plating. The connector is rated for 5 amps, has a maximum contact resistance of 10 mOhms, and a working voltage of 250VAC RMS. This RoHS compliant model includes a #4-40 UNC threaded, 5.80mm clinch nut on the board side for secure mounting and operates reliably in temperatures from -55°C to 100°C.
