DESCRIPTION

The TAP650J50RE is a high-power, low-profile resistor designed for power applications requiring efficient heat dissipation. It provides a resistance of 50 Ω with a ±5% tolerance and is rated for 650W at an 85°C bottom case temperature. Key features include a low inductance design (80 nH typical), a high maximum working voltage of 5,000VDC, and an electric strength voltage of 6kVrms. The special resin-filled epoxy casing ensures high insulation resistance and partial discharge capability. This resistor is ideal for use in variable speed drives, power supplies, control devices, robotics, and motor control systems.
