DESCRIPTION

The EE-SX199 is a general-purpose transmissive photomicrosensor designed for PCB mounting. It operates with an infrared emitter that has a peak emission wavelength of 940 nm and a phototransistor detector. The sensor features a high resolution with a 0.5-mm-wide aperture within its 3-mm-wide slot. Key electrical characteristics include a minimum light current of 0.5 mA, a maximum dark current of 200 nA, and typical rise and fall times of 4 µs. Its PCB mounting design with a positioning boss facilitates easy and accurate installation in applications requiring precise object detection or position sensing.
