DESCRIPTION

The FUSB302BMPX is a programmable USB Type-C controller designed for implementing a DRP/SRC/SNK USB Type-C connector with a low amount of programmability. It enables USB Type-C detection, including attach and orientation, and integrates the physical layer of the USB BMC power delivery (PD) 2.0 protocol, allowing for up to 100W of power and role swapping. Key features include autonomous DRP toggling, dead battery support, a VCONN switch with over-current protection, and low-power operation with a typical current consumption of 25 µA. This controller operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C and is ideal for applications such as smartphones, laptops, power adapters, and cameras.
