DESCRIPTION

The LM317LZG is an adjustable 3-terminal positive voltage regulator capable of supplying an output current in excess of 100 mA. It provides a nominal reference voltage of 1.25 V and supports an adjustable output voltage range from 1.2 V to 37 V, set by two external resistors. The device features a typical line regulation of 0.01 %/V and load regulation of 0.1% of the output voltage. Integrated protection features include internal current limiting, thermal shutdown, and safe-area compensation, making it robust against overload conditions. The LM317LZG is ideal for various applications, including local on-card regulation and as a precision current regulator.
