DESCRIPTION

The MC14013BD is a dual type D flip-flop constructed from MOS P-channel and N-channel devices. This logic edge-clocked device transfers information to the output only on the positive-going edge of the clock pulse and operates over a wide supply voltage range from 3.0 Vdc to 18 Vdc. It features static operation, diode protection on all inputs, and is capable of driving two low-power TTL loads or one low-power Schottky TTL load. These characteristics make the MC14013BD suitable for applications such as shift registers, counters, and toggle flip-flops.
