DESCRIPTION

The NCP3063BDR2G is a versatile 1.5 A monolithic switching regulator designed for step-up, step-down, and voltage-inverting power supply configurations. This device integrates an internal temperature-compensated reference, a comparator, a controlled duty cycle oscillator, a driver, and a high-current output switch. Key features include an input voltage range up to 40 V, a nominal operating frequency of 150 kHz, and protective functions such as internal thermal shutdown and cycle-by-cycle current limiting. The NCP3063B version operates over an extended temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. Its flexibility and minimal external component requirement make it ideal for applications like high-power LED lighting, battery chargers, and general-purpose DC-DC conversion.
