DESCRIPTION

The OP231 is a high-performance IR emitting diode designed by OPTEK Technology. Emitting at a wavelength of 890nm with a power output of 1.5mW/cm², this diode is suitable for a wide range of applications including remote control systems, proximity sensors, and optical encoders. The diode features a narrow 18° beam angle for precise light direction and is housed in a TO46 case with a domed lens for optimal performance.
