DESCRIPTION

The OPF2412T is a low-cost, digital output fiber optic receiver housed in a threaded ST-style package. It incorporates a monolithic photo-IC with a photodetector and DC amplifier driving an open collector Schottky transistor output, which is compatible with both TTL and CMOS logic. The receiver supports data rates up to 5 Mbps, operates at an 850nm wavelength, and is designed for a single +5V supply. This device is ideal for applications such as industrial Ethernet equipment, copper-to-fiber media conversion, and video surveillance systems.
